Consignment Services Overview and Online Agreement

Let us help you sell your boat or toys

Consignment is a great way to sell your current boat. Reynolds Marine Co. has a large customer base and people are always looking to upgrade or add to their fleets. Below is how we can help you move your boat. Let us handle the listings and the showings!

Online Presence

Units will be listed typically in a few locations and websites. Reynoldsmarineco.com is standard and included. All brokerage units will be added and listed here. Depending on the unit other places may include Facebook Market Place, Only Inboards, etc...

Listings / Images

Boats being listed online will (at the cost of the seller) be run through our service department to check to make sure boat is water worthy and the new owner should not have any surprises upon taking their new vessel home. We may ask that some repairs be done prior to being listed for sale. We also decline to list boats based on this inspection. Inspection fees are based on hourly rate and due upon completion of service not dependent on sale of unit.

Photos and Videos

Units listed for sale after they have been inspected, will be photographed with interior and exterior images for the listings. If a walk through video is requested or preferred in addition to the images, we love doing these and they help with sales! Please ask about these videos and the fee to do so. Walk thru videos on listing have been known to help units sell faster!

Detailing

We are happy to discuss a detail with you for your boat for listing. A basic wipe down is included. But if a unit needs extra attention we can quote that service as well. It is not required. But a clean and shinny boat will always sell faster than dirty one. We also reserve the right to not list a boat based on condition- we do not want to waste your time or ours.

Paperwork

We are currently only a consignment business, so we cannot State register boats or trailers for buyers. All proper titles and transferable registrations and seller to buyer bills of sale will provided and required for all consignment units.

Detail your services

If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.
